More Information: The Currituck Banks were once home to several hunting clubs. The Whalehead Club is a spectacular restored 1920s hunt club built in the art nouveau style. Visit and learn about Mr. and Mrs. Knight who loved hunting and the outdoors and had the club built to pursue their love of hunting as well as to entertain their friends and family. See the beautiful pink tiled kitchen, and the Tiffany lamps in the entrance way. Self guided and specialty tours. Special events. Intimate gift shop. Tours are $10.00 for adults. Students 8 - 18 $5.00. Children 8 and under free with paid adult admission.
