Beautiful, clean, well maintained home that is pet friendly. To be honest, I would stay here without pets! The view of the ocean from the upper deck is priceless. Our dog loves the yard and we all love the proximity to the beach. Location in the OBX in general is very quiet and near many favorite places. We will return again!

Great property, very clean and well maintained. Plenty of room and dog friendly. We lost our dog in January and we were without her this year but stayed with the property as it is that nice.

The house was clean overall, it was well maintained and very nicely decorated (including lots of adorable dog decor). We were not sure what would be provided, but were pleasantly surprised with a fully stocked kitchen, which made eating in extremely easy! You can see the ocean from the top deck and it is a quick and easy walk to the beach. The fenced in yard is a huge bonus when you have dogs with you and the hot tub was nice to soak in:) There are multiple decks, which makes enjoying the days and nights easy, moving from one side of the house to the other, soaking up the sun or cooling off in the shade. Very nice outdoor furniture as well.

If you are travelling with a dog/dogs, Salty Dog is a wonderful vacation home. The fenced in yard is a big plus for those of us that don't always find a higher quality vacation home that is pet friendly. The decor of the home is tasteful and beach themed which I appreciate while on vacation at the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking and saving leftovers.

This is a beautiful home. The owners have done a wonderful job furnishing the house with high quality furniture and very tasteful beach themed decorations. There are numerous outdoor spaces including the pool area, backyard and all those decks! It's very family/dog friendly and each guest has plenty of space and storage in the bedrooms. There is a great view of the sunrise and the ocean from the top deck. Plenty of chairs & tables outside for sunbathing, eating and relaxing. I appreciated the supply of hangers in the closets which isn't always the case in a rental home. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need.
