With the ever-changing jobs market, more opportunities are available in our coastal community. The Outer Banks has a twenty-one-bed hospital, several outpatient facilities, and two urgent care offices. There are six chain grocery stores, three major hardware store chains, along with several locally owned and big chain restaurants. There are shops and service-oriented businesses too. National and state parks bring temporary residents looking for long-term rentals on the OBX, as well as the US Coast Guard and large construction projects.

Long-term leases are typically one year in term and require security deposits and credit checks. Download a long-term rental application - all applications require a $20.00 fee per person.
