Duck NC Rentals

The Town of Duck is alive with with an annual Fourth of July parade, musical events, theater performances, even Tai Chi in the park! The town's municipal park is eleven acres of natural beauty nestled in a soundside maritime forest and willow swamp. Park amenities include walking trails, a soundside boardwalk, public kayak and canoe launching area, picnic shelter, event gazebo and playground. Musical events such as the Duck Jazz Festival are held throughout the year in the park. A seven-mile multi use path traverses the entire length of the town where pedestrians, bicyclists can share the trail. Since the town is a designated bird sanctuary you will spot herons, egrets, skimmers, terns and over 400 other bird species that call the Outer Banks home. Because many areas in the Town of Duck are naturally landscaped, you may spot a white tailed deer, red fox or river otter. Keep looking and enjoy the natural beauty of this vacation destination!

Located between Southern Shores and the Northern Outer Banks of Currituck, Duck is a premier Outer Banks vacation destination. Spacious beaches, outstanding shopping and dining ensure a great family vacation.

Duck Communities

  • Bias Shores - This lovely community offers vacationers access to a community swimming pool, two community tennis courts as well as a sound side access with a private pier on the Currituck Sound.
  • Tuckahoe Subdivison-  The word tuckahoe comes from an Algonquian Indian word for a plant whose root was a source of nutrition for native Americans on the east coast. For us it is a wonderful Outer Banks vacation community offering a community swimming pool and tennis courts.
