South Nags Head
Beginning at the 16.5 milepost in Nags Head and going south to milepost 22 is the area known as South Nags Head. Primarily residential, this area is bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and on the west by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, a nautral area forever protected from development. Peaceful and quiet, this area offers lovely beaches and is convenient to shopping, attractions and Oregon Inlet.
