There was visible mold on the kitchen ceiling peaking out from the ceiling fan. Structurally, the top deck was not sound enough to feel comfortable spending time on it. The floors were filthy when we arrived so much so everyone’s feet and socks were black within just a few minutes. The kitchen was pretty under stocked appliance and just everyday use item wise and the beds are all terribly uncomfortable. Overall, the house was somewhat of a letdown.

Great location and space. Home layout is great for groups to hang out. Pool was shaded in the afternoon which was perfect after a morning at the beach!

This was a great property conveniently located to the beach and local grocery stores as well as some local restaurants. The home is in great condition and the pool was great to have. We would certainly consider this home for a return trip to OBX.

We came the last week of May. The cottage was large enough, so we were not on top of each other. The hot tub was a great escape, especially for the kids. There is a pool table for entertainment, and family game night was a hit.
