Perfect home for multi-generation vacation.

We arrived around 8pm to the vacation home. We flipped on the kitchen lights and saw 1.5” roaches on the counter tops. My husband killed 3 quickly. We started watching tv and noticed one coming towards us in the living room. We called Joe lamb staff the next morning and she played it off for being a “ water bug”. The exterminator did come and sprayed. His service report read, waterbug/ cockroach”. Joe lamb rep played it off as no big deal. I’ve stayed in 30+ homes in OBX and never experienced these huge bugs. They are certainly cockroaches of some sort and I do not want to bring these home with me. We never used the kitchen after seeing this. We ate out every meal. We also witnessed dirty, greasy, electric skillet etc in the drawers. Thank you for the quick response and call from the exterminator (who was very professional), but to the representative at Joe lamb, sorry… we don’t play off bugs like this. The house was nice with plenty of room. Otherwise fairly clean.

While we were able to send a professional exterminator quickly and determined it was palmetto bugs. This is a very well supplied house. The elevator made it possible for family with mobile issues to manuver and be included. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our time there. Pool and hot tub were nice.

This house is everything the information online said it was. It has great views, easy access to the beach, close to good Restaurants, Pool was clean and quite a hit for the whole. Good beds, plenty of space and Pool Table definitely a plus.
