If you're interested in staying sound side, this is the house--views are amazing. Only caveat, it is a good 15 minute drive to the bypass since you are sound side in Collington and the road is windy with speed limits of 25 to 35 mph. But having access to the community pool, community playground right on the sound, and having your 'own' dock is a unique Outer Banks experience. (Be sure to rent kayaks, SUPs, etc.) We were a little worried about mosquitos, but never was an issue--the breezes were strong enough all week that we never really encountered mosquitos.
