Osprey Point is a terrific sound-front home that has many updates including furnishings, flooring, kitchen and baths. Featuring captivating water views your family is sure to be pleased. This home is inviting and comfortable with many upgraded aspects that include wood floors, stainless steel appliances, gas fireplace in the living area and electric fireplaces in the private suite and game room. There is a sandy beach area that permits dogs and enables easy kayak access to the sound right next to the property. Dock is suitable for kayak launching and docking shallow draft watercraft such as pontoon and jon boats. The top level private suite is gorgeous and has its own beautifully furnished sunroom w/magnificent views, the perfect place to relax. Nature lovers be sure to bring your binoculars to observe the activities of the ospreys and numerous other species of birds, as well as squirrels cavorting in the century-old live oak tree, and even the occasional pod of dolphins playing in Kitty Hawk Bay! Located in Colington Harbour with amenities that include a playground, sandy beach area, restrooms, and boat launching facilities (nominal fee for boat ramp). The great beaches of Kill Devil Hills and area attractions including the Wright Brothers National Monument are a few minutes’ drive away with ample parking and public access. Exterior lift shown in photos is non-functioning and therefore not available for guest use.

Beautiful location and house, especially if you enjoy wildlife and the outdoors, like we do! Watching the Osprey pair was so much fun.
The most gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed from the comfortable and relaxing deck. Very bright, open floorplan with lots of large windows overlooking the bay. The pool was very clean and refreshing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house and hope to return in the future.

WE LOVE OSPREY POINT!! As we pulled up the tree lined drive and reached the top we were greeted with the amazing view of the lovely home but eyes were drawn to the the pool area overlooking the sound...WOW!! We loved the friendly quiet homey neighborhood, and the property itself is amazing. Right on the sound the views, wildlife sounds and breezes are so wonderful and soothing. Sunrise and sunsets are AMAZING. Our poodles loved the dog beach just next to the house. While the pool is not large it is wonderful and just right for our family. Our 6 year old granddaughter was in it constantly and had a blast wearing her goggles and searching for diving toys! And the view from the pool looking out on the sound is breathtaking. The hot tub below the duck on lower level in a perfect spot ( under cover for those rainy days ) also has beautiful views and it is a very nice hot tub.
The kitchen is fantastic with its top of the line appliances we loved cooking in it which we did almost every meal, as well as using the gas grill.
They thought of everything when stocking the dishes and pots pans etc, very nice quality too!
The huge master bedroom with an amazing large beautiful bathroom with walk-in large shower and sunroom is absolutely lovely . The other 2 upstairs bathrooms are also nice of average size. (Couldn't figure out how the tub drain stoppers worked however) we felt more at home at Osprey Point than any other vacation home we have rented. We did not want to leave.
We can't wait to return to Osprey Point!!!
PS. We loved watching Ricky and Lucy in their nest high above the water, building it , catching their meals, and they kept a watchful eye on us as well lol!!

WE LOVE OSPREY POINT!!
