Very easy walk to beach and Target if you forget anything! Be careful of burs in the yard. Not a ton of pantry storage for groceries. Bring two ply TP. Living room furniture isn't condusive for more than a couple people to lounge.

This cottage is great! Everything you need for a great vacation and it is just a short walk to the beach! My family and I have been renting cottages for years and this was our favorite so far!

Let me start by saying this house is awesome. The owner has went above and beyond to make you feel like you’re at your own beach “cottage”. We had a 1 year old in our group. We brought all of the essentials but this house had it all down to the baby forks and spoons. I have stayed in a lot of houses in the obx and never been in one that was as well stocked as this one. Simple things like night lights being everywhere and Alexa’s in each room were a nice touch. The decor was fitting for a beach cottage. I would recommend and rent again in a heart beat.

Absolut-ly Beachy is a great house for our family. We love the private pool, hot tub and pool table. There is always a deck in the shade for reading. The walk to the beach is short. We love this house.

Absolut-ly Beachy's location to the beach was excellent. The home was in great condition and well stocked with amenties. Pool table, pool and hot tub were in great condition. Decor was beautiful. Outside fence lighting was awesome. Much appreciation for extras such as: hair dryers in each bathroom, flat irons, many games, 2nd fridge in pool table room, hand soap in bathrooms, dish soap in kitchen, kitchen towels, many pots/pans. We did not feel we need to purchase any extras. Future guest should know that there is a combination coffee pot/keurig system. We brought our Keurig from home because we did not know what kind of coffee maker was available. COFFEE is life :)
