You will enjoy Windishores! The sunrises are spectacular and home is small 2 bedrooms but sleeps at least 6. You will love its nostalgic atmosphere with an amazing kitchen. The home is not big but its pack full of great features!

Windishores is a treasure to discover on the Outer Banks if you have not been lucky enough to stay there yet! It is perfect for small families and anyone who enjoys staying in one of the cottages built in or before the 1950's. This is the best equipped home that I have rented in the OBX…and the deck is phenomenal- there are spots to sit when it is very windy and you are sheltered from the rain. Thank you for the experience. I will rent this home again in the future-if available!

We found 492 to be perfect for two adults with small children. The property is well maintained and the amenities are up to date. I believe it important to rest after a day at the beach and the sleeping amenities ensured a good night rest.

Well furnished home. We really enjoyed the covered porch and furniture. You will not find another OBX rental as close to the oceanfront! Would definitely stay here again. Eating in the dining room you feel like you are on the beach!

Was so impressed at the cleanliness of this home. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We loved the large gated deck. Very cozy and very comfortable with with up to date appliances and overall upgrades to interior. Excellent views on that great ocean front porch sunrise to sunset.
Beach access was basically the back yard, which we adored.

This was our second time staying at Windishores. It is exceptionally clean and we loved having the included linen package. The kitchen is fully stocked and had everything needed to cook meals. The charcoal grill was brand new, which we appreciated, and the new outside shower is huge! Great house for a small family or two couples.

WIndishores is the perfect beach house. It is fully equipped with a new washer/dryer, comfortable king and queen beds as well as bunk beds. It was extremely clean upon arrival. The appliances are amazing....large ice making fridge.
The kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil you could ever need. We loved the deck overlooking the ocean. It was our happy place. Would definitely rent again.

The views were awesome, the bed was the best we have ever slept on, which made everything else we did great. There is nothing better than a good night sleep on vacation. Something that is normally rare. This rental was very clean upon our arrival and we had no maintenance issues. I would reccomend this property to anyone seeking a stay in Kitty Hawk area.

I highly recommend this beach house. The recent renovation is beautiful. The hammock was one of our house highlights for relaxation. The high adirondack chairs make it perfect for watching the beautiful sunrises and staring out into the ocean watching the dolphins. The washer and dryer are a huge plus and very convenient. We can't wait to get back next year and were sad to leave that little slice of paradise.
