Got Beach is a beautiful, unique vacation home. The layout, decks and furnishing were perfect for our 6 person group. While not Ocean front, the views were great and the walk to the beach very easy. The home was very clean, and you could tell it was well cared for. The four bedrooms with private en-suite was great for us and the two half baths were perfectly placed. The pool area and hot tub gave us plenty to do when not adventuring on the OBX. The location in Kitty Hawk was perfect and the elevator was great for our aging parents to get around easily.

It’s hard to believe we have stayed at Got Beach for 15 years. Time goes by so fast and our memories we have from staying here at OBX are so special to us. We have watched our grandchildren grow from little kids to young adults and adults and they have enjoyed the time here as much as we have. They always talk about that one week we have at OBX at what seems to be “our house” for that one week. The house is perfect for us as we sleep over two floors but eat together and watch TV at night together on the third floor. It is so relaxing sitting on the deck reading, talking and being able to see the ocean and then in the evening being able to watch beautiful sunsets from the corner of the deck. The decks also afford a great view of the many fireworks in the evening of July 4th. The house is plenty big enough for the ten of us but with the decks we can also have some individual peace and quiet. The pool and hot tub just add to the enjoyment of our week. While each week does come to an end, we always rebook at Got Beach for the next year where we can look forward to our time at OBX, the ocean, fun in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub and our traditions of Slice pizza, Jimmy’s Seafood, fudge, fireworks and the best part, which is being together for that week as a family.
