The reason is simple, the cottage is comfortable, well manteined, clean, pet friendly and steps from the beach. Perfect in every sense. Very comfortable and well maintained . So grateful we were able to bring our four-legged baby. I always make sure to rent pet-friendly cottages and Franklins was great. Love that it's just steps away from the beach. Another great thing is the hose outside, we were able to hose off our beach chairs and fishing poles. Cannot wait to return to Franklins next August . Our thanks to the owners of this cottage. We have been coming to the Outer Banks since the summer of 2006,and have stayed in different cottages from Duck to S Nags Head. This is the first time that we have reserved the same rental property for our next year vacation. Very satisfied!!!!
