This was our fifth year staying at Dolphin Lookout. You just can’t beat the proximity to the beach. You look out and see and hear the waves crashing on shore. No huge dune to climb over which was very important to my 70 year old knees. The house is nicely furnished. We’ll keep coming back.

Can't beat the location. There are many homes that say oceanfront, but this house is only steps from the surf. We ate crabs on the deck while watching dolphins do complete flips out of the water. Just can't get any better than that!

Dolphin Lookout is a beautiful home right on the beach. And it certainly lives up to its name as we saw dolphins multiple times a day, every day. The split layout was perfect for our 2 families with plenty of room for everyone in the shared spaces. The home had everything we needed and the beach toys and boogie boards were much appreciated. This home will be going on our list of favorites in the OBX.

Great property to take a curious toddler. No stairs except outdoors & deck have a gate on the stairs. Awesome oceanfront views. The shed had every beach item you need.

The location of the house is perfect! It is right on the ocean, and you can sit on the deck with your cup of coffee and watch the beautiful sunrise. The house is is very comfortable and feels like a home away from home.

The location is amazing! We saw dolphins from the deck nearly every day. The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the shed with beach equipment. Plenty of seating in the living room and we loved the deck!

The location of the house was spectacular. The only down fall for us as older adults were the step steps to access the house and bring up all our luggage.
The deck was awesome and the house other than the bedroom closets were spacious enough. Over all the house was great.

Love the whole feel of the house. Nicely decorated. House was adorable and set right on the beach. Very well furnished and decorated. Loved everything about it. Just note there is no ice maker in the refrigerator but that is just a minor inconvenience. Very private and quiet neighborhood.
