There is a bike/multi-use path that runs the length of Nags Head and the Outer Banks Fishing Pier with Fish Heads Bar and Grill is within walking distance. Fish Heads is a cannot miss stop while visiting the area and features great food and cold beverages with a location that is right on the beach.

We came right after Idalia left so there was sand everywhere - but being Oceanfront not a surprise and I did a little clean up. Joe Lamb staff came the day after we arrived to clear the decks and stairs of the over-washed sand without us calling. We've liked being with Joe Lamb for many years.
