I have been renting this home for the last 4 years. I like the homes location to the beach , the elevator helps me a lot with moving in and out, the pool is great and the location in Kitty Hawk is perfect for us. Now , some very strong suggestions for the owner and JLJ. The rip off cost that was charged to me this year was totally out of line. I will not mention the amount for I would like all other vacationers to be as surprised as I was. The other thing is that for the amount that is being charged for this home you need to go out and buy a very nice set of pots and cooking pans. The ones there are terrible and all scratched up . Even butter sticks. We bought one last year and this year just to cook on. Both refrigerators drop ice on the floor every time you open and close them. Master Bath shower needs the grout cleaned . Looking kind of black in places. Some door handles, like the one from the garage , are rusted. My granddaughter cut herself , $30.00 bucks with fix that. In the past I have suggested an outside table either at the pool deck area or the main front deck. A lot of people like that while on vacation. Final. The price has consistently gone up every year and attention to detail has not . These may be small things but for the rental company and the owner I would think you would be more into making it a better place than making it a higher price. I have been a loyal client of JLJ for the last 8 years , my business my be In question at this time. Please respond if you are going to before o book my vacation for next year 2026. Thank You.

The house is beautiful and has an amzing kitchen for a big group. It has fantastic views of the beach and ocean and the beach access is very close, not crowded and the private deck for access make it perfect

This is one of the newest properties on the beach, and one of the nicest. The covered porch is a selling point. Not many houses have them, and you are left sweltering in the heat.

Please don't try to rent at the same time we do. We love the time of year and the month we are there.the home is very relaxing and full of sun light .
The decks allow you to have sun all day , front and back.The master shower is really big enough for two and wine. Plenty of room for food and drinks with the two refrigerators.A great place to enjoy with friends or family.

Over the Dune is the perfect home for a relaxing family vacation. It's well appointed, comfortable, and ideally located in Kitty Hawk. The kitchen had everything we needed to make several family meals. The pool and backyard were perfect for yard games and family time. We loved having 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers and 2 washer/dryers. We used them all!

This was one of the nicest houses we have ever rented in OBX. Check in and out was very convenient with the keyless entry. The staff at Joe Lamb were polite and made the process of renting enjoyable.
