This was our first trip to the Outer Banks, and this property was absolutely perfect for our family. The house offered plenty of space to both spread out and gather in the inviting common areas.

The kitchen and bathrooms were recently renovated, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything needed to prepare large meals. We especially loved the free-standing ice maker and the expansive island, which became a natural gathering spot. The rental company also provided linens and towels, which made packing easy.

The best feature was the private walkway to the beach. It was a short, convenient walk that gave us the flexibility to come and go throughout the day. While there is a small hill leading down from the bench area to the sand, every member of our group (ages 4 to 76) navigated it comfortably. Sandy from the beach? No worries—there’s a hose on each deck level to rinse off before heading back inside.

On rainy days, we appreciated the large selection of puzzles and games stocked in the house, which kept everyone entertained. Grocery stores like Harris Teeter and Food Lion are only a short drive away, and there are plenty of nearby takeout and dining options as well.

Overall, this home provided everything we needed for a wonderful and memorable vacation—we hope to return!

This is a very comfortable and clean space that worked for our large family with many small kids. We love staying ocean front and this was perfect location for us! Walkable to shops and the dunes. Short rides to surfin spoon and other local faves.
