Fabulous location! Beach access right across the street with lots of restaurants within a short walk. House was clean with nice linens and a well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was a nice feature. We will definitely return.

We were in town for the annual Hang Gliding Spectacular (at Jockey's Ridge). This house was absolutely PERFECT. It was within 2 miles of the park, there was a hot tub (sore muscles from climbing the sand dunes and flying) , outdoor shower to get the sand off, and I loved that there was a small walkway that lead to the beach. It was far enough away from any public access points, so there were very few people where we set up at the beach. There was even some beach chairs and toys in the laundry room, that was a nice touch for the little one who flew in and couldn't bring his own.

My husband and I stayed for a week for our anniversary. We thought the pictures online showed exactly what you get with this rental and we appreciated that. We imagined the rental would be a great space for a small family. Two families or even two couples might be a little crowded. Guess it would depend on your vacation ideals. We had plenty of space for the two of us. We loved the sitting area with the view of the ocean upstairs. The beach access is literally across the street from the home, it made watching the sunrise and getting out to the beach a breeze. If you rent bikes, this home is closer to the Kill Devil Hills side, so you will have plenty of bike riding (or walking/running) space on a paved sidewalk to head south. This house was perfect for our first stay at the OBX.
