It can be a little tricky to get the house warm when its cold out. 2 rooms are toasty but the larger rooms on the long side of the house aren't. So glad they have blankets in the closet.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed property in a quiet area with quick access to Duck, Southern Shores, and Kitty Hawk for boutique shopping and wonderful restaurants!

Well maintained and comfortable. The location in Southern Shores can't be beat. The community is quiet and not much activity on the beach. We have stayed at OBXcited three years in a row and it is always in great shape. The gates and alarm system around the pool provide excellent safety measures.

This is simply an exceptional home and it made our family vacation just wonderful! It had all we needed -- and even more than we could imagine. The pool and hot tub were so much fun -- our girls couldn't get enough of it. We enjoyed watching them while relaxing in the covered hot tub or under the large and cool covered deck. An ice maker by the back door for the beach?? Very conventient and made our time over the top fun!

The beach/ocean front view is just priceless. We sat on the deck every night

The house is true ocean front with wonderful views. Neighbors on either side are not right on top of you so there is privacy that can be hard to find with similar properties. Ample parking is a plus. The house itself was perfect for our group with well equipped kitchen

This house has replaced my number one OBX beach rental home. Obxcited offers expansive views of the ocean and dramatic sunrises and envelopes you in a resort-style setting with its large, sun-filled, in-ground pool and hot tub. I can't wait to see the cabana built for the 2023 season.

Indoors, the elevator makes this home perfect for move-in and move-out, as well as bringing in groceries on shopping days. The house is very tastefully decorated and provides ample kitchen supplies for large groups.

Perfect location--loved the Southern Shores area--very quiet and peaceful. The pool/patio areas were o.utstanding; Having an outdoor shower was very useful. The layout of the house is wonderful; loved the packaged towels in each bedroom. The outside decks and stairs are awesome! Tons of kitchen items (plates, glasses, pots, pans). Location is the key, on the beach and close to all the restaurants and shopping areas. House is in great condition, beds are comfortable and fit well a group of 15. Hot tub area is fabulous and great outdoor sitting areas around the house.

Obxcited is by far our favorite Joe Lamb, Jr. rental house. The location is somewhat private and the beach is a mere few feet away. The big ice machine is brilliant, the decks are comfortable, the kitchens have all the gadgets you might need for a novice and a more experienced cook. (love that pasta faucet above the oven.) We love the pool, it's my 82 year old mother's favorite since she is too unsteady to get to the beach. My favorite place in the morning is the screened in porch and in the evening for the family/friends to gather and play games. The furniture is comfortable and very tasteful. This is our second stay in Obxcited and we've all agreed it's the best choice for next year's visit as well. We're already Obxcited to go again! ; )

Unbelievable house at the beach. We have come to OBX for years and this is was the best house yet. Location, pool, distance to beach it had it all. Not to mention the house itself (furnishings, beds, and etc.)
