Outer Banks Daredevil Baseball 2015

It's summertime. On the Outer Banks that means beach, burgers and baseball. It means a lot more than that, but that's a good start.

One of the hidden gems of family entertainment on the Outer Banks are the Outer Banks Daredevils playing from the First Flight High School baseball field in Kill Devil Hills. This is a wooden bat league, brining some of the best college talent to take the summer learning how to play major league ball.

Is it major league talent? Some of the kids who have played for the Daredevils have gone on to play in the bigs, although that is rare. But the brand of ball these boys play is worth a look.

This is great family entertainment, though. Because it's on school grounds it's very protected and if the kids want to wander around while Mom and Dad watch the game, it's a nice safe environment. Very reasonably priced, a family of four should be able to buy tickets, get something to eat and have change left from $50.

The season kicks off this coming Monday, June 1. If you're in the area, don't miss opening night.

Here at Joe Lamb Jr., & Associates & Associates we're proud sponsors of the Outer Banks Daredevils. To us they represent two of the most important reasons folks come to visit us-family and fun.
